Difference between IBPS PO & SO Prelims Exams



The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection conducts the IBPS PO & SO Exams for selecting the candidates for different posts.
Where IBPS PO is conducted for recruiting aspirants for the post of Probationary Officer at the other hand IBPS SO Exam is conducted for recruiting the candidates for Specialist Officer post.
Candidates who want to get selected for these posts will have to go through one common stage that is called the Preliminary Exam.

The IBPS SO Exam is conducted for 5 different posts - law officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari, Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer Scale I
