UGC NET – An exam which is organised for those who want to make their career in teaching or in the research field.

Previously the exam was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) but from Dec 2018, NTA (National Testing Agency) replaced the CBSE.

With conducting the UGC NET Exam, NTA also decided to make some important changes in NET Exam for organizing it more effectively.

Recently NTA has made some more changes in UGC NET Syllabus and Exam Pattern.

UGC NET Syllabus – Check the Latest Updated


NTA has given a big surprise to the aspirants who are preparing for NET Exam.

The UGC NET Syllabus has been updated up to 40% to 50%. It is one of the biggest changes made by NTA for the upcoming UGC NET Exam.

As per the official website, the updated syllabus is available only for 81 UGC NET Subjects.

Check the Updated UGC NET Exam Pattern –


NTA has made some important changes in the UGC NET Exam Pattern. This time also the exam will consist of two papers (General Paper 1 and Paper 2). However, from June 2019 Exam, both the papers will be conducted in a single three-hour duration.

Before this change, candidates were benefited with 30 minutes break in between Paper 1 and 2.
But now the exam will be conducted in a single session.
