As we all know that every year IBPS conducts examination for various posts.

This year IBPS also going to conduct examination for IBPS Clerk for number of posts in public sector banks.

IBPS is yet not announced the official notification for IBPS Clerk but according to sources the online application form will be started to fill from this August 2017.

So, candidates must prepare themselves to give their best in exam.

In this article, we will discuss some important study plans & preparation tips to get qualified in IBPS Clerk.

IBPS Clerk Preparation Tips:


Followig are the tips for IBPS Clerk Preparation-

Exam Pattern:


Candidates should be aware with the exam pattern to make their strategies for the preparation.
The exam will be conducted in two phases:

IBPS Clerk Prelims Examination.

IBPS Clerk Mains Examination.

100 Questions will be asked from prelims section in 60 minutes duration.

After qualifying prelims, the next stage is mains examination. Candidates will have to solve 200 questions in 2 hours.

0.25 marks will be deducted if you give a wrong answer in both prelims and mains examination.
There will be no interview for IBPS Clerk.

Time Management:


A proper time management is very important throughout the whole examination.
Because you have got only few minutes to solve every section.

Split out the given time duration for every section according to your suitability.



Try to give less time to the section in which you have got good command.

First attempt that question that you can solve quickly and never waste your time by stuck on a question. If you are not confident about that question, just leave it and move to the next question.

You must clear individual cut off for every section in IBPS Clerk examination to qualify. So, try to give more time in the section you are weak.

Maintain your Speed:


Speed has a great roll in bank exams. You need to maintain your speed throughout the examination to solve your paper in time.
There are lots of ways to improve your speed.

Use online test series on daily basis to practise on them. It’s very useful trick to improve your speed in easy way.

Use short tricks for the calculative questions in quantitative aptitude.

Start reading newspapers for reading comprehension part in English section. “The Hindu” newspaper should be preferred to read.

Make your own NOTES:


Self-made notes are the best study material for any candidate. Make your notes according to your suitability to understand the topics. These notes are helpful to understand any topic in an easiest way.
When the examinations come near, you can use these notes for your revision session.

Break off your weak & strong zones:

You need to know that in which areas you have got good command. Split out your weak areas from your strong ones by doing these you can gain good marks in your IBPS Clerk exam. Start working on to improve your weak areas to make command over it.
